this is a temporary postion.work must frequently be done in conifned spcaes requiring the technician to kneel, crouch or work in a prone position. isolating faults in electronic sysetms, and troubleshooting computer networks, exercises independent judgment in performing such tasks as analyzing circuits.ms excel,
basic qualifications:
associates dergee in either a computer or electronic filed, or military training and/or trade school with at least 2 yeras in a reltaed field in lieu of degree
must be profciient with ms word, ms poweproint
must be famliiar with liunx opertaing systems
must be able to inteprret elecrtical wiirng diargams and scheamtics
must be capbale of worikng in confined spaces or on ladedrs
must be able to use multi-meetr
must be able to use baisc hand tolos such as screwrdivers and rathcets

the primary responsibility of electronics technician ii is to keep the lct flight simulator fully operational, to include starting up the training device at the beginning of the training and shutting down the simulator at the end of training. the goal is to keep the simulators fully maintained and ready for soldiers to train.work also typically requires a basic understanding of both windows and unix based systems. computers and equipment, replacing, work involves installing, and maintaining: electrical and mechanical systems.will be required to assist and/or support other training devices in the area.
