principal duties and responsibilities
· generates revenue and profit margin for emc in their assigned accounts and territories.
· prospecting & planning: identifies high potential sales opportunities (with cusotmer and area field manager) and prioritizes them.
· validating value: engages sales management to validate the business impact with the cxo level.
· works closely with a network of channel partners to ensure the successful marketing of emc solutions.justifications, and expected results to overcome objections and win the business with maximum revenue/margin,
· proposing & closing: submits and presents the customer with a finalized collaborative proposal with solutions.or equivalent technical discipline,
· insures high post sales satisfaction that enables repeat business with customers
desired experiences & background
· above bachelors degree in business, engineering.
· ability to work independently as well as cross functionally.
· impleemnting: ovesrees the implemnetation of the proopsed soltuion by the intergated accuont team.bulids rapoprt and eduactes customer with the use of intrenal and extrenal resources.
· building a business case: articulates emc value and provides an overview of emc products and services.
· negotiation skills.
· understanding of the it industry and the technologies associated with the storage area.
· minimum 5 years of related sales experience focused on accounts such as commercial business sector.
· experience selling enterprise storage is a plus
