msut have one or more of the following certifications: certified information systems security professional (cissp), giac security leadership certificate (gslc) or certified information security manager (cism).it neither prescribes nor restricts the exact tasks that may be assigned to carry out these duties. policies and procdeures, hardware, and firmware comply with appropriate security configuration guidelines, ensure ia and ia-enabled software.prepares evaluation reprots. composes and sends alert notifications. launches and tracks investigations to resolution. assesses information network thraets such as computer viruses. ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face to face. analyzes network traffic and alerts to assess, prioritize and differentiate between potential intrusion attempts and false alarms. perform analysis of existing/proposed it systems, general design or redesign of computer systems or subsystems, problems, security or requirements.analyzes security findings and data. ensures that the physical environment of the computers and their terminals are properly secured.proivdes security analysis and consultation services for product, system and network architecture designs. report security incidents in accordance with appropriate policies.

eduaction & expeirence:
