responsibilities:
provides network resources for internal/external customers to fulfill their communication needs via network management tools, and systems. coordinates with network service providers to resolve outages and initial activation. tunes, sets standards and maintain a range of computer network components and systems, monitors.tunes, and supports basic existing network infrastructure and ensures stable, reliable, secure, monitors, and efficient network operations.asssits in providing technical assistance to all internal/external customers during network outages.
education & experience:

helps to evaluate vendor products to make recommendations for purchase. troubleshooting and/or evaluating hardware, and other network related problems, participates in the monitoring, analyzing, software.and coordination of the corporate network, works in integration of a total network including the planning, design, maintenance, installation, management.assists in implementing improvements to existing network architecture, and network management systems based on guidance from senior level engineers. it neither prescribes nor restricts the exact tasks that may be assigned to carry out these duties. performs general network administration tasks as required. candidate shall have a minimum 3 years experience in the operation of various communciations equipment and 5 years experiene performing system fault isolation, operator maintenance and comsec functions.participates in providing network design solutions for existing organizational/client needs. ncp and related software and hardware, telecommunications transport facilities, gateways, physical media, performs these functions across a limited range of network facilities including some, routers, line drivers, and network management components, mainframe vtam, but not all, digital servers, hubs, bridges, protocol stacks.assembles and updates documentation in the form of problem and change management tickets. coordinates with all responsible users and sites.
