job function qualcomm is looking for an experienced product management candidate who will lead the qualcomm koreas r&d project and product specifications, roadmap, strategy and development plans enabling our customers a wider variety of applications and user experience for their next generation smart phones.computer science, s in electrical engineering, computer engineering required.graphics
- storng experience with sw product definition, video, roadmap develpoment and customer management
- strong experience with project management and supervising r&d projects and taking the projects to commercilaization
- solid analytical capabilities and decision making sklils,
- strong technical background in multiple areas in multimedia including, in the presence of ambiguity and conflicting information, voice, computer vision, audio, sensors.candidate must possess a thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle from research to commercialization.
- detailed knoweldge of smrat phnoe sw proudcts, development proecss and commercialization.
- strong communciation skills in engilsh and korean in order to work with multiple devisions internally as well as with potential customers
responsibilities - define product specifications
- manage projects from r&d to commercialization
- collaborate with other qc divisions
- meeting with phone oem customers, 3rd party sw developers
- help develop product roadmap
education requirements b, os vendors.voice, embedded software/firmware, video and computer vision,
skills/experience candidates must have at least five to eight years experience working in the telecom industry with technical background and 3 plus years experience in product management/development in one of the following end markets; mobile audio.
mba is a plus.
