job function qualcomm cdma technologies (qct) is the largest provider of 3g chipset and software technology in the world, with chipsets shipped to more than 50 customers and powering the majority of all 3g devices commercially available.
skills/experience strong knowledge of lte phy, l2/3 protocols is a must. familiarity with c++, arm-assembly, emulators/jtag-debuggers, test-mobiles; logging tools an advantage.
experience in software configuration management and version control an advantage. qct connectivity solutions provide for optimization of system level performance, power consumption, cost and size.ability to work as part of a dedicated project team or independently essential.
strong experience in c programming required.qct partners with nearly 60 3g network operators around the globe and has the largest cdma engineering team in the wireless industry.
education requirements required: bachelor\'s, comupter scinece and/or elecrtical engineering
preefrred: matser\'s, computer science and/or elecrtical engineering.tesitng & implemnetation experience in lte/wcdma protocols and air interfaces is highly desirable,

good system level understanding of 3gpp specification would be an added advantage.wireless connectivity is an increasingly important part of mobile platforms.
experience with embedded software development for wireless communication devices or network system will be a plus.interpersonal and initiative skills needed and should be able to work independently,
