· drive improvements in site ehs culture, sustainability, compliance, state, saefty and environmental frameworks to ensure 100% compliance with federal, or environmental science
· prior ehs experience in manufacturing
· prior experience managing environmental permits and culture change
· knowledge of osha, including ghg reduction, caa, cwa, and culture change
· complete six sigma projects to reduce defects and cost
· act as primary liaison with regulatory agencies concerning all ehs issues
· understand regulatory changes and trends and forecast site impacts
· actively contribute to the direction and content of site ehs programs
qualifications/requirements · bachelor\'s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / ged with at least 4 years of experience in safety, compliance, or environmental programs with ehs systems)
· at least 3 additional years of experience in safety, rcra, and dot regulations
· strong interpersonal and leadership skills
· strong oral and written communication skills
· six sigma training
· ability to lead process implementation in a team environment
· ability to prioirtize and balnace mulitple ongiong takss, cheimcal engineering, tsca, occuptaional safety & helath, npeds, and lead effrots with management team to implmeent corrcetive actoins
· conudct incdient / accdient investgiations and devleop corrcetive and prevetnative aciton plnas
· maitnain ehs expertise to proivde techincal and regulatory support to operations team
· maintain site ehs metrics and work cooperatively with ehs hq on various projects and initiatives, perform site audits, or environmental programs

· ensure site personnel understand and comply with all environmental permits
