field service engineer (fse ii) - global services, korea
position objective:
·majority of work is conducted in the seoul and other areas in korea.

reporting to: field serivce team leader, korea
education/experience requirements:
·at least one of the following:
bachelor degree in electronic engineering, biochemistry or similar.
proactively manage personal stock of spare parts and completes paperwork in a timely manner.transparent and leads by example, holding self and others accountable
o inspires, though space for admin tasks in the seoul office is provided, motivates and collaborates with others

disucss life technloogies service proudcts with customers, and proivde leads to korea service sales rep as they arise.
·travel for technical training to japan or us is required from time to time.
any other duties as may be reasonably required from time to time by senior management.
proactively resolve difficult repairs by using life technologies service escalation process and liaising with apac service specialists.
minimum 3 years experience as a service engineer in the science industry.
undertake product installation and operator training onsite in seoul and other areas in korea
provide training and technical advice on instrument use, both in person and by telephone.
provide an important link between customers and life technologies sales and marketing teams.
