job function qct\'s software applications engineers support customers with understanding, integrating, testing and optimizing performance of software features for asics supporting a variety of air interfaces and other related technologies including multimedia.
skills/expeirence . minimum 3 years of industry experience in bluetooth software development/applications engineering

it is a very challenging position requiring the candidate to learn and internalize qct software and operation concepts very quickly, supporting a wide range of software discussion (e. document and communicate highly technical information to both technical and non-technical teams
, demonstrated ability to analyze.experience with mobile handset development is preferred. strong c programming and debugging skills
. hands on experience in developing bluetooth drivers and stack/profile/soc firmware
. wlan experience is plus
education requirements required: bachelor\'s, comupter engineering and/or comupter scinece or ee
preefrred: matser\'s, comupter engineering and/or comupter scinece or ee. proir experience with bt hci, soc and bt profiles like hsp, hfp and a2dp is required
.ability to demonstrate initiative effectively multitask across a variety of technical issues
responsibilities, self starter.
. experience with qualcomm amss/android software and msm chipsets a plus
. excellent oral and written communication skills.
. experience in product/platform commercialization a plus.training, publishing application notes,
the role requires interfacing with handset developers, are some of the key daily activities in this role, and system debugging, development, assisting customers with software integration.g. ranging from low level embedded software issues to carrier level features deployment and planning). some travel for on-site customer support may be required.
