job function qualcomm cdma technologies (qct) is the largest provider of 3g chipset and software technology in the world, with chipsets shipped to more than 50 customers and powering the majority of all 3g devices commercially available. are some of the key daily activities in this role, publishing application notes, assisting customers with sofwtare integration, training, and system debugging, development.) qualcomm is seeking the best candidates available worldwide for this technical support postiion. some travel for on-site customer support may be required.strong initiative, strong interpersonal skills, self starter.any distinguishable activities during university period such as participating micro robot contest or sw application developer workshop, sci of graduated thesis in communication/digital signal processing would be a plus,
for new hire opportunity.the role requires interfacing with handset developers, base-station inter-operability testing partners and wireless carriers. windows device driver, direct show framework experience/knowledge is a plus, windows mobile.
experience with mobile handset development is preferred. dsp embedded system development/coding for multimedia application a plus, besides auido.
skills/experience embedded systems for audio device drivers to control audio codecs/glue logics. master\'s degree preferred.working on ovearlll audio (vocdoer, tuinng, wavdeev, alsa, cmx) on varoius platofrms inclduing brew, liunx and andorid, it is a very challneging position requriing the canddiate to leran and interanlize qct software and operation concepts very quickly, windows mobile.
responsibilities
education requirements bs in electrical engineering or computer engineering is required. qct partners with nearly 60 3g network operators around the globe and has the largest cdma engineering team in the wireless industry.
strong experience in c/c++ programming required. strong knowledge of hw logics for the sound data interface.acting as the key liaison between qct engineering and customers, customer engineers interact with marketing, test engineering and sales to ensure customer products are received favorably and on time in the marketplace. optimization and debugging on embedded rtos (real time operating systems) such as windows mobile or android,
software integration.signal processing for sound tuning of audio playback and voice call. korean/english communication skills - able to understand and explain highly technical information in a clear and concise manner. testing and optimizing performance of software features for asics supporting a variety of air interfaces and other related technologies including multimedia,
